Terms of service.

TabiTabi is operated by Piraeus Technology LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the TabiTabi website or app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use TabiTabi.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold about you and is part of this agreement.

You must be at least 13 years old, or at least 16 if you are in the EEA or the UK. If you are using TabiTabi on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.

You can use TabiTabi without an account; trips then live only in that browser. Signing in with Google, with Apple, or through an email link creates an account that holds your trips and lets you share them.

Keep your sign-in to yourself. Anyone who can use your Google or Apple account, or read the mailbox you sign in with, can reach your trips. Tell us at piraeustechnology@gmail.com if you think that has happened.

One person, one account. Do not share an account or sign in as someone else. To plan together, share the trip — that is what sharing is for.

TabiTabi is a planning tool. It helps you shape days, keep details in one place, and understand a budget.

It is not a travel agency, and it books nothing. TabiTabi does not sell flights, rooms, tours, insurance, or anything else. It takes no payments and holds no money. Nothing in it is a reservation, and adding a flight to an itinerary does not put you on a plane.

It is not advice. TabiTabi gives no travel, legal, immigration, health, safety, tax, or financial advice. Entry requirements, visas, vaccination rules, and local law are yours to check with the authorities that set them, and they change without telling us.

Your trips are yours. You keep every right you have in what you write. We claim no ownership of your plans.

We need permission to run the service. You give us permission to store, copy, transmit, and display your content strictly so that TabiTabi can work: syncing your trips between your devices, and showing them to the people you share them with. That permission covers nothing else — we do not use your trips to train anything, market anything, or build any profile of you — and it ends when you delete the content.

What you enter about other people is your responsibility. A traveler's name, a companion's share of an expense: you decide what to write. Enter only what you are entitled to enter, and keep in mind that a name is not required — a label will do.

Do not put sensitive records here. TabiTabi is not the place for passport numbers, government identifiers, payment card details, or health records. It has no field that asks for them and no feature that needs them.

A shared trip is opened with a link. Understand what that means before you send one:

• Anyone who has the link and is signed in to TabiTabi can join that trip and see everything in it.
• A link does not expire on its own. Remove a member when they should no longer have access, and stop sending an old link around.
• Only the owner can change the trip's title, destinations, dates, currency, and notes, manage its members, or delete the whole trip.
• An editor can change itinerary items and traveler labels. A non-owner can delete only itinerary items and travelers that their own account created.
• Expense access is a separate permission: the owner or a member explicitly given that permission can add or change expenses. A non-owner can delete only expenses that their own account created.
• The trip's owner controls the trip, including deleting it for everyone.

Do not use TabiTabi to:

• break the law, or help anyone else to;
• store or send content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing;
• reach an account or a trip that was not shared with you, or try to defeat the rules that keep trips separate;
• scrape it, load it automatically, or put it to any use that degrades it for other people;
• extract Google Maps content through TabiTabi for use outside it, which Google's terms prohibit and we do not permit.

Some of what TabiTabi shows comes from other services. We pass it on as we receive it, and we do not vouch for it.

Places and maps come from Google. Suggestions, coordinates, and the map are Google Maps Platform features. Your use of Maps features and content is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. A place can close, move, or be mislabelled in Google's data, and a pin on the map is not a promise that anything is there.

Exchange rates are a reference, not a quote. The rate TabiTabi suggests comes from a free public source and is indicative only. It is not the rate your bank or card will give you. It is editable for exactly that reason, and once saved with an expense it never changes — that is a deliberate record of what you decided, not a live conversion.

Flight and transport details are what you typed. Airport codes come from a public dataset. Times, dates, and numbers in your itinerary are yours. TabiTabi does not check any of it against an airline or an operator, and it will not notice a schedule change.

Check anything that matters before you rely on it. Confirm departure times with your airline, addresses with the place itself, and money with your bank. TabiTabi is where you keep the plan, not the authority for it.

TabiTabi is provided free of charge. We may change it, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice and a way to get your trips out, unless something outside our control prevents it.

Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose. There is no guaranteed uptime here, and no promise that data is never lost. If a plan would be painful to reconstruct, keep a copy of it somewhere else too.

You may stop using TabiTabi at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account by writing to piraeustechnology@gmail.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must for legal reasons, or if your use puts the service or other people at risk — with notice where we reasonably can give it.

When we complete an account-deletion request, we first delete every trip that account owns and then remove its profile and authentication record. Content you added to a trip someone else owns stays in their trip; remove it first if you would rather it did not.

TabiTabi is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that TabiTabi will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information in it — particularly information from third parties — is accurate, complete, or current.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost travel arrangements — including a missed flight, a missed booking, or a trip that did not happen — arising out of or relating to your use of TabiTabi.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to TabiTabi will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free service, is nothing) or US$100.

Nothing above takes away rights you cannot lose. Some jurisdictions — including the EEA and the UK — do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Where a limitation here is not permitted, it does not apply to you, and the rest still stands.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of what you put into TabiTabi, how you used it, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from something we did wrong, and it does not apply where the law does not permit it.

If you install TabiTabi from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence and use of that installed app. These service terms govern your TabiTabi account and service; they are not a custom App Store EULA. If you install from Google Play, the applicable Google Play terms also apply to the store's distribution of the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Talk to us first. Before filing anything, please write to piraeustechnology@gmail.com. Nearly everything is faster to fix than to litigate.

• If a clause here is unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the clause applies as far as it lawfully can.
• Not enforcing a term straight away does not waive it.
• You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it to a successor of the business.
• These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about TabiTabi.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and we will tell you in the app before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use TabiTabi after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using it and ask us to delete your account.
